Description
Dry-fit the cable into the connector before crimping Make sure center conductor sits tightly in the center pin Crimp center pin using the correct die (typically 0.042“) Slide the connector body over the dielectric and shield Fold back braid neatly and slide ferrule over it Crimp ferrule using correct die (e.g. 0.213” hex for RG-59) Don’t over-crimp — especially with foam dielectric cables
