HAMEG HM407-2 is a 40 MHz, two-channel analog/digital storage oscilloscope designed for laboratory, service, educational, and electronics-development applications. It combines a traditional CRT-based analog oscilloscope with a digital storage oscilloscope (DSO) section, allowing users to select the most suitable operating mode for repetitive, transient, or stored waveform measurements. The instrument provides two input channels, analog bandwidth up to 40 MHz, a maximum digital sampling rate of 100 MSa/s, digital storage of 2 × 2048 × 8-bit records, pre-/post-trigger capability, reference memories, cursor measurements, automatic setup, waveform averaging and envelope modes. It also includes a component tester, 1 MHz calibrator and RS-232 interface for computer-based control and waveform processing.
