Description
A positive control SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) switch, often found in GaAs (Gallium Arsenide) MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) technology, operates with a positive voltage to switch between two output paths. The “non-reflective” characteristic indicates that the inactive port is terminated with a matched impedance, preventing signal reflections. These switches are commonly used in RF and microwave applications, including communication systems, test and measurement equipment, and radar systems.
