Agilent E4438C ESG Vector Signal Generator is a high-performance RF/vector signal generator designed for generating accurate, stable, and spectrally pure continuous-wave, analog-modulated, and digitally modulated RF signals. It belongs to Agilent's ESG family and was designed for demanding applications in wireless communications, RF component testing, receiver testing, transmitter development, production testing, and automated test systems. Depending on the installed frequency option, the E4438C covers 250 kHz to 1, 2, 3, 4, or 6 GHz, with the 6 GHz configuration requiring the appropriate option. It provides 0.01 Hz frequency resolution and supports vector/IQ signal generation, frequency and amplitude sweeps, digital modulation, arbitrary waveform generation, and external I/Q operation.
