Agilent E3640A is a 30 W single-output, dual-range programmable DC power supply designed for laboratory bench work, electronic circuit development, servicing, and basic automated test applications. It provides two selectable output ranges—0 to 8 V at up to 3 A and 0 to 20 V at up to 1.5 A—allowing users to trade voltage range for higher available current. The E3640A combines conventional bench-power-supply controls with programmable operation, built-in voltage/current measurement, overvoltage protection, remote sensing, and GPIB and RS-232 interfaces. It is therefore suitable for both manual laboratory testing and computer-controlled test systems.
