The Agilent 85092C is a high‑precision, two‑port electronic calibration (ECal) module specifically designed for fast, repeatable calibration of vector network analyzers (VNAs) over the frequency range of 300 kHz to 9 GHz. Instead of traditional mechanical open, short, load, and thru standards, the 85092C uses electronically switched, solid‑state impedance standards controlled by the analyzer via a USB interface. This makes the calibration process almost fully automated, greatly improving speed, repeatability, and ease of use—especially beneficial in production, field, and R&D environments.
