VSWR and return loss: Good matching across full band is hard; check datasheet for how VSWR behaves across 1‑2 GHz etc. Weight & build material: To make short/compact, lighter materials are used (thinner walls, less flare), but this can affect mechanical rigidity and durability, especially outdoors.
