Gain vs Vertical Beam‑width: As the gain increases (towards the 4 dBi side), vertical beamwidth generally narrows, meaning the antenna focuses more in the horizontal plane. Lower gain (2 dBi) gives broader vertical coverage, which might be better indoors or for multi‐floor coverage. VSWR close to 1.5–2.0 is acceptable in these wideband antennas. Very low VSWR across full band is challenging. PIM performance is critical for carrier class / DAS installations, especially when multiple high power signals pass through. Lower PIM (better) ensures less distortion / interference.
