Description
PIM Performance: For in-building systems especially, low PIM is critical to avoid interference. Connector Type & Impedance: Most telecom RF splitters for IBS will be 50 Ω and use N, 4.3-10, or DIN connectors; make sure it matches your system. Power Handling: Confirm that the splitter can handle the input power levels of your active equipment. Environmental/Installation Conditions: If the splitter is going outdoors or in harsh areas, look for IP rating, temperature range, and mounting/installation details. Isolation between output ports: Though less key for equal split, good isolation ensures minimal interaction between the two outputs. Physical size, mounting & loss budget: In your system design, account for the splitter’s insertion loss plus cable and connector losses so you still meet coverage requirements.
