The Hewlett-Packard HP 75000 Series B is a compact, modular VME/VXI automated test system designed to accommodate a variety of measurement, switching and data-acquisition modules. Common mainframe models include the HP E1300 and E1301, which provide nine B-size module slots, including two internal slots intended for an optional E1326B digital multimeter. The system features a built-in command module, GPIB/HP-IB computer interface, resource-manager functionality and SCPI programming support for automated testing. The E1301 versions also include a front-panel display and keyboard for manual operation, troubleshooting and monitoring measurement results. Depending on the installed plug-in modules, the HP 75000 Series B can perform measurements such as AC/DC voltage, current, resistance, frequency, temperature, signal switching, multiplexing and data acquisition.
