Description

The Agilent E3640A is a precision, single-output programmable DC power supply designed for laboratory, development and automated testing applications. It delivers up to 30 W and provides two selectable output ranges: 0–8 V at up to 3 A or 0–20 V at up to 1.5 A. The dual-range design provides higher current for low-voltage devices while retaining flexibility for higher-voltage testing. The E3640A offers constant-voltage and constant-current operation, low ripple and noise, adjustable overvoltage protection, built-in voltage and current measurement, and storage for up to five operating configurations. Front and rear output terminals support convenient benchtop and system use. Built-in GPIB and RS-232 interfaces allow remote programming and integration into automated test systems. The E3640A is suitable for powering and testing circuit boards, sensors, amplifiers, embedded systems, communication equipment and other electronic devices in research laboratories, manufacturing facilities, repair workshops and educational institutions.
